GM Mover and Packer follows a systematic approach to packing and moving. We understand that home shifting is tiring and that items must be packed securely to prevent damage. Therefore, each category of your household items is packed separately using the right materials.

Below is a brief overview of how we pack common household items:

Glassware

• Wrap each piece with double-layer paper.

• Place items horizontally and roll securely.

• Store them in box compartments for added protection.

Cups & Mugs

• Wrap with double-layer tissue or newspaper.

• Stack with handles in opposite directions.

• Secure them with folded side layers before boxing.

Fragile Items (Stemmed Glasses, Delicate Pieces)

• Wrap individually in silk or tissue paper.

• Place them at the top of the box with extra padding.

Plates, Saucers & Coasters

• Use double-layer newspaper.

• Stack 4–6 plates per bundle and place upright in the box.

Silver Items

• Wrap only in tissue paper to prevent scratches.

• Store in dedicated compartments.

Small Appliances

• Remove accessories, tape doors and covers, and wrap properly.

Large Household Appliances

• Disconnecting and preparing appliances such as ovens, refrigerators, washers, and dryers is done by a trained technician before moving.
